Description:
Coastal Oregon nowcast/forecasts are
produced by a numerical coastal ocean circulation model (ROMS)
maintained by an OSU/COAS research group with initial support by
OrCOOS and ongoing
support from NANOOS and
the Cooperative Institute for
Oceanographic Satellite Studies (CIOSS).
Access through GOODS is limited to the most recent 10 days of the model solution (including a week long data-assimilating hindcast and a three-day forecast).
