Saving and Exporting

Save your scenario
------------------

To save a model setup, select "Download Your Model Setup" from the Save menu option. This will save all parameters used to describe your scenario along with all the supporting files (wind and currents files, map files etc). All the files will be bundled together in a zipped folder with the extension ".gnome". Althouh, this file can be unzipped if desired, to examine the contents, to reload into WebGNOME it must remain zipped. 

Export the results
------------------

To save the model results (i.e., the particle locations and properties over time) choose "Export Particles" from the Save menu option. Various formats are available including NetCDF, Shapefile, and KMZ.
